Gold Coast Fun

A few weekends ago, Rob, Ben, Eliza and I spent the day down at the Gold Coast. It was a fun and laid back day with great friends. After lying on the beach we went to this awesome cafe that none of us can seem to remember the name of now. Then we went driving around the Indy track and eventually went to Max Brenner Chocolate Cafe! SO SO SO AMAZING!!! It all ended with us crashing at Eliza place. Here are the photos from the day,

Halloween with Eliza

Eliza & I went to the YSA Ward Halloween Party this year and it was awesome. This time we dressed up as Greek Goddesses (Its amazing what you can to with some white sheets and gold thread). There was a scary alleyway around the side of the house which was the only way to get into the party but i couldn't handle it and got let through the front. Here are the pictures from the night,

New Place

In June this year, Rob and I moved into a new place north of the city. Its been a little hard because we're now further away from Mum and Dad, but we are allot closer to rob's work and all of our friends. Its a beautiful little suburb, only 15 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the city. It's a two bedroom place but it's bigger then our old place and it has a dishwasher and an air-conditioner. We're still not completely set up (there are still plenty of boxes in the garage) and there's still some furniture that we're saving up to buy like a dining table and a BBQ, but overall we're allot happier here then we were in the old place.

Halloween At Movie World

One of the Halloween party's that rob and I went to this year was at Movie World, it was overall a pretty good night, some of the haunted house (there were 4) were too scary for me (the clown on especially!) My best friend Eliza dressed up as an angel, I dressed up as a devil and Rob's cousin Ben dressed up as a murderer. Rob didn't dress up but Eliza and I just said that he could be part of our costumes (we would be his shoulder angels). We were planning on taking a picture so that it would look like we were standing on his shoulders but we forgot! Anyway here are the pictures from the night.

My costume, yes those are sequins. I just glued them on with normal PVA glue but it took forever cause I had to glue them on one at a time, but I was so happy with the results, it looked so good.

Catch Up

So I'm 21!!! I had two awesome party's and got spoiled for presents. Rob got me a beautiful charm for my charm bracelet, its a treble clef and two musical notes. Elly and Rick got me a 21st necklace and since i can only wear it as a necklace for the year that i am 21, I'll get it put on my charm bracelet after. Grandma and Grandpa gave me some money and so did Auntie Naomi and Uncle Glenn (in form of a gift card). My friends Sarah and Fiona gave me the DVD Set of Season Seven of That's 70's Show, and Eliza gave me another 21st charm on a key. So the family party was on the Friday night which was my actual birthday and then the other party was at Jupiter's Casino on the Gold Coast. Rob actually rented an awesome hotel room for that night so after meeting up with all my friends at the casino we went up to the room and hung out and caught up. Allot of the people that came were people that i went to school with that i haven't seen since graduating in 2005, so it was great to catch up with them all and I'm looking forward to there 21st!!

Rob and I are moving to a new place, we're moving north of Brisbane into a two bedroom unit with air conditioning and a dishwasher (those were a must for rob - he's so picky! ha ha). So i pick up the keys the night before Rob's birthday on the 27th and since i know that he wont read this before then I'll tell you my plans. He thinks that I'm going to cook him a nice dinner in our new place on the Friday night but I'm gonna surprise him, I've got some of his friends and family to come over and surprise him when he gets home from work, i can't wait!

The only other news that i really have is that I've been getting better depression and anxiety wise, it will be a while longer before I'm completely better, but i just feel so much better already and have allot more good days then bad days. its allot easier to get out of bed and do stuff, i have been told that i have to wait a while before i go back to full time work but I'm all clear to do part time work and I'm thinking about studying to maybe be a counsellor at schools? still not sure but I'm looking into it.

well that's all that i can think of right now, I'll put up some photos next time i post.

Bungie Racing

So the gold coast ysa put on a mini convention about a month ago. lots of fun, blow up castle, blow up boxing ring and the following - a blow up race thingy, lots of fun, lots of rubber burns and sore necks tho. im on the left hand side and a girl from windaroo ward called ari is on the other side against me

car accident

so I'm finally posting the photos of the car after the truck ran into me on the motorway, for those of you that don't know, a truck ran into me on the motorway going about 110 K's a hour, the car is still drivable but i was pretty shaken up, my backs not to good either, well I'm going to go cause I'm pretty tired, i also started a new job this month and I'm just trying to get use to working full time again.

I have died and gone to heaven!!!!!

so i loved melbourne so much i want to move there!!! i had a blast and i love the weather!!!! haha
i do want to mention all the devastation that is happening there and that i hope all my friends and family in melbourne are safe and well.

i am currently still unemployed due to my health and have been told by my doctor that i can only work part time or causal and only in a low stress enviroment like retail, unfortunately no one is hiring atm cause of the recession. I'm still trying and just getting thru each day one at a time.
