Jaime & Rob's Blog: February 2008

So I've been in my new place for nearly 2 weeks now and I love it!!!!!for those of you that don’t know I’ve moved out of home, lets hope this time works out better then the last,its in student accommodation so its cheap but I have roommates basically we share a kitchen, living/dining room, and laundry, but I get my own bedroom, study and bathroom.
All fully furnished!!!! I have a clothes dryer!!!!!!!! Ha-ha and it’s got a massive pool and tennis courts, unfortunately I have no TV. or computer but that’s ok cause I have all this free time to work on making my jewelry.

there’s another update, I’ve started to make jewelry, it all started Christmas shopping for robs nieces, we bought them some cute jewelry and other misc craft thingy kits and I saw a whole bunch of jewelry making stuff, beads, clasps, pliers, etc and I got a little excited, so I bought a whole bunch of stuff to start off with. Mum and dad saw me making some necklaces and things and voile my Christmas present was a box full of bits and pieces for my new hobby that may earn me a little bit of money on the side but its ok if it doesn’t, it’s just a nice feeling to make some thing like jewelry and then wear it.

So what else has happened?

Well Christmas was pretty awesome I had a great time buying Christmas presents for everyone and cried when I finally figured out what rob got me! I was bugging him for weeks trying to crack him but he didn’t budge, being the amazing boyfreind that he is, he bought me celine dions new cd and the dvd of her Las Vegas show. Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE celine dion. I mean I'm a member of her fan club and I would have loved to go to her Las Vegas show. He told me later that he wanted to buy me tickets to her concert coming to Brisbane in March but they were sold out already.

then we had our one year anniversary, and he didn’t buy me a present instead he made one that was so romantic and I love it, I wont say what it was cause he says he doesn’t want to sound like a sissy but it was such a beautiful thing to do for some one I really wondered why I was so lucky to have him, I love him with all my heart and just when I think I’m going to burst with love for him, I grow more and more in love with him!!!!!!!!

We have our first holiday together coming up and I’m so excited. I’ve been working so so so much, in the tourism business we don’t get holidays at the same time as everyone else but I’m not complaining cause then it’s not busy or crowed.
We are going down to Melbourne for a week in the begining of March and we are so excited to see friends and family as we were both born in Melbourne.

As for our Valentines Day plans we are going to go see the umbilical brothers and I’m so excited!!!!!!!! (Nathan and jenny its the guys from the upside down show) we've got great seats so check back for some good pics.
